I appreciate the rare emphasis of this book as it touches on ways to use "secular" work skills to God's glory. The writing style is not my favorite-- lots of dialog, little action (almost as if it was written for radio drama.) But my son (age 7) is slowly reading through them and enjoying them. My grandson liked it somewhat. But when you buy it for your 8 yr. old grandson you never know. But I read it before hand , and I thought that it would challenge a boy to know that he can make a difference in using his God given talents.
This series is a must! For boys and girls, these are great short stories about the people that are being focused on.My kids like them very much!

This book has brought hours of enjoyment to my son. It's given him detailed info on the life of famous people in history, things he would have never learned in public school. Great book for boys, very wholesome.

I heard on the news that we are defined by our culture and that disgusted me. I want way more for my child then pop culture. Over and over and over again I expose my child to men who did great things.
