Second-chance love stories aren't my favorite genre but I do enjoy them. Usually the reasons for the "split" are stupid and could have been avoided with just a little communication. Wow! Not this story. To say that Michelle and Elijah deserved a second-chance would be an understatement...they deserved a first-chance. I found myself yelling and threatening Liam on several occasions. That's how I know this was a great story because I got completely wrapped up in it.*I received an Advance Reader's Copy of this book as well as purchasing a copy which I am voluntarily reviewing*
This well written second chance romance has it all, an alpha male back to right a past wrong and get the woman he loves and a child he did not know about, a lovely but abused young woman, hot chemistry and passion, an abusive brother, betrayals, action and suspense gives you a thrilling read. Enjoy!
I loved this story of the horrible thing that happened to Elijah because of his love for Michelle and her's for him on her prom night. The awful beating her brother and his two friends did to him , and the eight years of hell her brother put her through . Things changed when Elijah came back to claim revenge but things turned out a little different . I believe this is a second chance story is well worth reading.
This story has intriguing storyline that captures the reader's interest and attention. Elijah and Michelle are a couple in love 💘 with each other even apart they are still love , right years later. The suspense in this story is intense with the secondary characters contributing to the storyline.
Just once. And her life changed and so did his. But some years later he is back. He never let her go from his heart and mind. This time they are walking away together. Got to love a guy who doesn't give up on what is his. He now has two reasons to fight. He is not leaving without them. What a underdog.
Enjoyed reading this book and reading about the characters and their story. Looking forward to reading more from this author.
It started out exciting. It got a little dark, done rather tastefully, but then it was a little predictable for me.
OMG! Holy crap! Talk about one seriously bad scene. Natasha nailed this bad boy 100% on point from the beginning. Totally blew me away with the intense connection, ruthless backgrounds, defiance, uncertainty and conflict. One rollercoaster ride of emotions and events that pulls those heartstrings. All the drama, heartache, uncertainty, abuse, angst and suspense runs deep, while tension spirals. Twists and turns abound with unexpected circumstances that make for one thrilling experience. The two main characters have one intense, unbreakable, all consuming, soul deep, undeniable connection that pulls you in deeper than you thought you'd ever go. The characters are complex and believable with such depth and individuality it's easy to relate. The scenes are so graphically detailed and descriptive you have no trouble picturing each scenario as they play off one another in perfect balance. Natasha really shows us why she's such an awe inspiring author. Remarkable job Natasha, thanks for sharing this little jewel with us.I received a review copy of this story.
