About the Author
Born and raised in Canada, Peter received his undergraduate and Master’s degrees from McGill University. His focus on behavioral ecology and coral reef ecology led him to two field seasons at Bellairs Research Institute in Barbados, in 1999 and again in 2002. After graduating in 2003, Peter moved to the United States and began a career in science communication and writing, publishing in both peer-reviewed academic journals and the popular press. I picked up this book at a local dive shop as a gift for my best friend. We both live locally and have recently been very active divers. Flipping through the pages I realized I needed a book of my own! So much detailed information about the reefs and wrecks that we've visited. It's all the information I've ever wanted and them some.
Florida has hundreds of divesites, the literature around those is very scarce.This guide has the highest graphic quality and great information.I would hands down recommend it to anyone diving the area, both for the first time and/or returning.
